Apple Chai Galette

Apple Chai Galette

Combine sweet-tart apples with aromatic chai spices and you have a delicious Apple Chai Galette. Though we are not using the tea which is called Chai in Hindi, we are using the spices used to make a chai tea in this Apple Chai Galette recipe.

If you like spiced foods and chai teas, you WILL enjoy this! Top it off with ice cream and/or caramel sauce and its perfection! I particularly love the ambrosial smell that circulates my house while baking this Apple Chai Galette.

Notes:

  • Be sure your crust is thawed in the refrigerator and not frozen. Take it out before slicing apples so it rolls out easily.
  • You’ll need a Large baking sheet and Parchment paper sheets (I prefer the sheets since it requires no cutting).
  • If you prefer a more mild taste, you can eliminate all the spices except for the cinnamon and up it to 1 tsp (or more if you prefer).
